Laika stepped through, disappearing into the light. "Don't worry, Pete," she called back, her voice fading. "I'll be with you, always." The family watched in awe as the portal closed, leaving no trace of their friend. Baron chuckled, clapping his hands together. "Time to make some waves!" he declared, leading them towards the water. Pete hesitated, his heart pounding in his chest. But as he saw Roman by his side, offering a reassuring nod, he took a deep breath and plunged in, his fears dissolved by the warmth of his family's support.
