π Pete the Puggle’s Manhattan Beach Picnic Parade
One sunny Saturday, Pete the bright-eyed, platinum-furred Puggle woke up with a wiggly tail and a nose full of ocean dreams.
“Beach day!” barked Pete, zooming in circles.
Mariya, his gentle and protective mama, packed sandwiches and sunscreen. Papa Lenny, ever practical, brought folding chairs, frisbees, and plenty of water. Big brother Roman? He brought the fun—plus a giant, squeaky beach ball.
Off they went to Manhattan Beach, where the sun shimmered like glitter on the waves.
Pete leapt from the car and raced toward the breeze. His ears flopped, his tail curled like a comma, and his paws made happy prints in the sand.
Roman and Pete played fetch, but Roman threw the frisbee right into a crabby crab’s path!
“Woof!” said Pete, backing up.
“Oops!” said Roman, laughing.
The crab waved hello with its claws, and Pete tilted his head and barked a friendly “nice to meet you.”
Mariya laid out a cozy blanket. The family munched on lunch while Pete curled in the shade, licking peanut butter from Roman’s fingers. Lenny showed Pete how to dig the best sand tunnel, and Pete surprised them by uncovering a shiny shell shaped like a heart.
As the sun began to dip, the sky turned orange and pink like cotton candy. Pete lay between Mama and Roman, his eyes bright and full of love.
That night, back home, Pete dreamed of sunshine, sea foam, and the snuggly kind of love only a beach day with family could bring.
The End. πΎ
